I am impressed with the power of the 1000w brushless motor in this Cordless hammer drill (note to buyer it comes without battery and charger but works well with Makita 18v). Motor is strong and switches easily from drill to hammer drill. No need for heavy extension cords when you have a battery drill with this kinda power for jobs without electricity or just a quick fix.Overall this is a well made tool that works as expected and is much lighter than the older corded ones. Price is perfect for the person who already has a 18v Makita, even worth buying the battery. Good tool to have.

Only needed 4 holes to drill, worked well. Probably the same cost to rent one, but now I have another tool in the drawer.

This item does not have three modes, it only has two: drilling and hammer drilling. It does not have the chiseling mode.
