I purchased this pump when the pump on my Yamaha 255 FSH failed. This was the salt water wash down pump for my boat. Living in Central Florida were in salt water all the time, so I hope this pump holds up much better than the original factory installed pump which only lasted 2 years. Only time will tell.

I feel that this this pump moves a little too much volume for my 5th wheel. I was previously running a 42 series Seaflo, which was very quiet with less cycling. I upgraded to this one to experiment with the additional volume that this supplies. Showers are definitely more powerful, but even after adjusting the bypass it still cycles a lot on low flow feeds like my RO filter (with a booster pump to insure RO gets enough pressure under all conditions). RO pressure meter fluctuates a lot with this pump.Possibly could be rectified with a accumulator tank to smooth out the cycling and absorb some of the surge from the larger flow. Ultimately I'll probably just revert to the 42 series and keep this one as the spare. No complaint against the actual pump, other than not a excellent match for my application. Seems like a very nice pump.

I have a used 2016 G.D. Reflection Rv. When I first turned on the water pump, I knew that id wasnt staying. So looking at water pumps and give better flow, I saw this bad boy. OH yea GREAT buy. It might not last but its 100% better than stock. Way more quiet and vibration is reduce a ton. I also see some of it is from the pipino moving so Im going to insulate that in hopes of helping the noise. But this bad boy runs Nice. I havent even put in the expansion tank yet but did install valves to make it easy to do.

I bought this to run a full yard sprinkler, drawing water from rain barrels, and it does the job well. Can't hear it running at all, is in a little plastic yard bin mounted to a piece of wood. I have it connected to a 12 Ah 12 volt battery and I can drain my two rain barrels on a charge. Time will tell its quality but in my application with just occasional use every week or so, I expect it to last a while.

Pump failed after only a few hours of use due to a leak in the main bearing seal. Motor bearing seized up.UPDATE: Seller responded to my review and after getting in touch with them via phone paid to return the pump under warranty and shipped me a new one promptly! Their response to my concerns was prompt, friendly and appreciated! I have 2 of these pumps and only one has been an issue. They are very quiet high flow pumps. Hopefully this one works better but a willingness to provide and stand behind a 4 year warranty is appreciated!

I have tried 3 pumps from 3 manufactures in 3 months. All has failed. First 2 failed due to actual pump motors. This pump motor is the best so far and has great pressure. But there is a major flaw with this item. It is the pressure switch. If you look at other feedbacks there has been many pressure switch failures. If pressure switch was high quality, I would give the item a 5 star. But very poor connection and switch overheating that will also cause the actual switch to burn out, I don't recommend it for the average buyer. First one that came and lasted one day and the connection went bad. It was clear to me that the switch had to be fixed. Because the pump motor is such a high quality, I purchased a replacement and installed a solenoid relay so that the poor connection and poor relay will not fail. If you don't know how to install solenoid relay, don't buy this product. It will fail very quickly.

Prior to buying the SeaFlo I had lived off-grid with a series of ShurFlo's and other 12V pumps that were supposed to go on at 25psi and go off at about 50 psi. Well, none of them lasted very long before there were problems. This SeaFlo seems better built and does not have the switch going off and on. Basically, it comes on when you are using water and goes off when you are not. That works fine and it seems like a lot more water gets pumped. Now, if it can just last longer than a year like the best ShurFlo did.

We have had it for about a year, May of 2019, used it 3 times (three different trips, perhaps 10 days total), now it will not hold pressure, unit cycles on and off with no water usage (about every 3-5 minutes and I have looked for dripping faucets and leaks and we have none), and the pressure switch fails intermittently (this was the first sign of a problem), very disappointed. I have tried to contact the manufacturer and the vendor but no response. This seems like a very low quality product, the fact that the vendor and the manufacture will not return calls or emails is a big tip off that they have some real poor business ethics, take your money and run! Save yourself some grief and don't order ANY product from the vendor and/or the manufacturer. 4 YEAR WARENTY MY BUTT!!!!! One can say that they have a 4 year warranty but if you can't return the item it is all talk. When the pressure switch started to fail, I figured I would just replace the switch and not worry about it, well not an option, can't buy a switch, and I darn sure am not going to give them money for a replacement pump (I am out $118). I will buy one from someone else and file this under SCREWED!!!!

I purchased this diaphragm pump approximately three months ago with high hopes for its performance. However, I am extremely disappointed to report that it unexpectedly broke down recently. Despite careful usage, the pump failed without warning, leaving me in a difficult situation. As a consumer, I expected a product of this nature to be durable and reliable, but unfortunately, that has not been the case. I would caution others considering this pump to thoroughly research their options and perhaps explore alternative brands or models. Overall, my experience with this diaphragm pump has been disappointing and frustrating.

Update sorry for the delay in the update .. it took alot from us to reason with the seller and they weren't very receptive to asnwer questions but eventually they did good by refunding that first pump purchase from ridgmount tools. And so even being a small family business they in the end dis right. Then shortly afterwards we proceeded to purchase a second unit as a replacement to the first but we purcjased it for the rv and emergency pumping and also for a little gardening waterings, and light duty stuff .., yes same model as it fits our needs nicely and our piping etc 60lbs is good pressure...but this time from Atlas which is an other seller of this model on Amazon, and about a few weeks ago begoning of may 2024 we needed to use the pump and it just failed , stopped working , and it's been a week since we msged Atlas and we haven't gotten a response concerning the 4 yr or 2yr warranty on how do we proceed ... I'm almost wanting to gice up on this model and brand but so many praise Seaflo amd it works so good when it does work ..makes me wonder should i just order an other one or go some other RV pump route................... ... . ... ... . ... Sos sos sos ...Oroginal from sep 2023 post follows...Go it, installed in the camper shack , usual set up .. , 12v deep cycle runs our sytems and additional top up power supplied by solar panels and charge controller to the batteries..This pump Pumped good and strong for a weeks or so, then while taking a shower it failed and doesn't want to power up at all. Looked at tons of how to resolve etc.. and found i can't do anything as the motor is toast. Ready to Junk it when first installed .. as Was really loud right out of the box and motor always got very hot very fast .. surprised it lasted this long but still, not impressed at all. Will most likely request seller to replace as it seems there are lots of issues in comments sections. Hope they make good .. update once i get a response.

Pump works well.It would be better if I had the 4 bolts ti install pump. No fuse to connect to 12 volt on tractor.

This pump is a significant upgrade from the 3gpm 12v pump I had before. I'm using it to provide well water from a sandpoint well to a small cottage. It powers the sinks, toilet, shower and washing machine easily. It is loud though, but all diaphragm pumps are loud. Pulls 15 amps when lifting well water 10 feet.
