Love using this, especially during the colder months. Perfect for pre-warming the bed for the kids, like a big pile of warm laundry out of the dryer. The timer function and auto shut off is a great feature.

The sheets under the blankets were icy every night. We are delighted and sleeping very warm every night, it is a nice feel to get under warm sheets, this electric pad changed our nights, we are happy to enter inside the blankets, the pad fits very nicely in the mattress, it has a deep fitting and is very good quality. My husband also said that he was getting some pains around the body because of the cold, but he didn't have any pain after using the warm pad.

I am always cold. Over the years, I have had a number of electric mattress pads. This Sealy brand is far and away the best I've ever had. There are 2 controls, one for each side of the bed. The controls have separate buttons for heat and time. The controls are extremely logical (unlike other brands) There is also a pre-heat function that is is fantastic. Auto-shutoff after 10 hours or so. The only thing I don't like is that the plugs from cord to pad are on the top of the mattress pad on each side. It would be more comfortable for the sleeper if the plugs were at the foot of the bed, out of the way of our feet. This is not a deal breaker, however, since everything else about this item is outstanding.

Edit: Ok, maybe I was in a bad mood because I was cold ;) I’ll try to be more informative this round.Tldr: It’ll do for 60 bucks. This pad isn’t even all that bad, honestly. It heats evenly, even in the middle “dual zone buffer†area. It also doesn't get super hot, just enough for the bed to be nice and toasty once you get in it, which I find preferable to being cooked alive.10 settings,1-8 with a L and a H setting. There is a timer for auto shutoff. The controls are lighted and not that hard to understand if you’re not the type to read manuals. You do feel the wires, but that doesn't bother me. A thin blanket on top of the pad and under a sheet will fix that easily. The topper also has a thick, felt-like feel, which is interesting (in a good way). It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy at all.The connectors are still stupidly placed on the sleeping surface and I still hate that a queen can’t have the option to be single or dual control. There is a model that does that, and I was thisclose to returning this one and getting that one (still am). I did discover that if I put the pad on upside down so the connectors were on the head side of the mattress, they aren't in danger of being kicked and they’re far up and away enough that my back pillows cover it without me touching them. The cord now also reaches the plugs in this config. Problem solved, I guess.I get a little bit less heat towards the bottom of the pad with it being placed upside down since the wires do not cover the full surface (because why on Earth would they need to do that? Ugh.. -_-). I am 5’7 and my feet are heated, but I can feel where it ends if I stretch. If you’re taller, reconsider this one.I admit I am nitpicking this a bit. It’s easily worth the ~60 bucks I paid for it. I should’ve just done more research and paid more for all of the features I wanted. And I’m too cold to take it back now and wait for a new one (maybe…).I’ll give it back a star, but it’s really a 3.5. It honestly might end up being for the guest in a few weeks.Original review:Why is this even dual zoned in the first place? And if it is, make sure the cords are long enough to reach the plug thats on the other side of the room. The connectors are on the top of the mattress, which is stupid, why would you put the connectors somewhere they can be kicked? It does seem to heat evenly and quickly. Haven’t decided if I want to deal with its shortcomings yet.

I'd slept on a heated king waterbed for over 50 years, last summer I bought a new split adjustable king bed but it was cold getting in bed at night. This I turn on half hour before bedtime and it's so warm and comfortable. Timer and temperature settings are so adjustable.

I LOVE my heated mattress pad! It heats quickly and shuts itself off after an hour which is a good safety feature. Lots of settings so you can adjust the heat level to your liking. Each side has it's own controller so everyone is happy.

Purchased 10/2023. Stopped working after 1 year. It was only used through the winter and not every night. When I attempted to use it this winter, it would not come on. Returned it in November 2024, and even though it said 5 year warranty, they would not replace it. They are supposedly refunding my money, still waiting.

Replaced an older model Sunbeam. This one heats very well. My only complaint is the complex control. There is a button for heat, which has 10 levels and one button for comfort, which also has 10 levels. I am too old to be learning this new stuff. Default level is H3, perfect when getting in bed but too hot to sleep on. To change it you need to be looking at the controller, I haven't got good enough to feel and count the settings. That is the advantage of the one knob controller. Other than that I am impressed with the quality and build. This one is a bit deeper than our old one, works great on thicker mattresses.

Perfect to preheat the mattress before the entire cottage in the winter time. By nature of electric heating, no such as very low radiation as measured by E.M.R. device, but good product.

Have used heated mattress pads for decades. When my recent pad stopped working after 5+years, I selected this Sealy queen size version. Controls panels are great -- easy to see in the night if you need to make a quick adjustment. Pad heats up quickly and the auto shut-off also works well.
