Nice rope for the money. Full disclosure... I have not rappelled with it yet. Just bought it for an emergency decent/escape/rescue kit. Remember, static rope for rappelling, and dynamic rope for leading/climbing. Upon close inspection, the rope arrived in excellent condition, the core and outer layer were intact, and it was a few inches longer than advertised. The ends are wrapped and marked with technical info and expiration date. Good deal for a nice rope without having to spend 2x or 3x more for an emergency kit that I am unlikely to use often if ever. For daily or professional use, you may want to stick with a more established brand, although these days, even some of them are not up to par on quality control.

This seems to be a good quality rope at a reasonable price. I have some other name brand ropes and they are a bit better but also a lot more expensive. I haven't had an opportunity to use this for rock climbing yet once I do I will update the review if I find any issues. My biggest concern will be how it wears once used for a while on rocks.

I picked this up on a whim because it was there. I used to do tree work and picked this up to use on a side job I grabbed a couple months back just to add it to my equipment. This is very nice quality rope. My climbing aider works well on it with zero slippage. It got me up the tree perfectly well and was used a number of times to lower limbs and gear. The pricing is pretty standard for the quality. I really like how well the orange rope stands out and is able to be seen for safety purposes. With a breaking weight of over 6000lbs, it'll hold up to virtually anything you'd typically use it for.

I have purchased a few of these “arborist†ropes in the past year. I use them for setting up a small zipline in the back yard for my kids. This one is the best one that I have purchased so far. Most of the Chinese knock-offs are too stiff and don’t have any of the finishing touches that make me think that they have any quality control. This brand is different. Not only does the rope itself feel really nice, they did a good job with the finishing touches. The ends are properly melted. They even went and installed clear heat shrink with a info label imbedded. The rope conforms to certification EN 1891 (meaning it is a low-stretch Kernmantle rope with less than 5% elongation and can withstand 22kn of force. On top of using it for a zipline, I’ve used it twice for tree climbing. I have a 45’ tree in my back yard that needed to be trimmed. I used a mechanical ascender to get myself high enough to trim some limbs. The sheath of the rope is very rugged, the teeth of the ascender did not damage it at all. Overall, Im really happy with its performance.

This is a good quality rope unlike what you find at the box stores. I keep this in my truck and use it pretty frequently.
