I was definitely skeptical when we bought this. How were suction cups going to hold our skis?! We went on a five day ski trip up North where each drive was 3.5 hours away. It poured, it hailed, and it snowed. The ski racks stayed in tight as ever for the whole trip. No problems at all.The best part is, they are so easy to install and remove. We don’t have to leave the ski racks on for the season. We simply just put them on and off as needed. As owners of a car that doesn’t have a luggage rack on top, we are grateful for this product!We highly recommend!

I looked at many solutions for putting skis on my sedan, but they involve some sort of mounting system that I have screw into my roof, often not ending there since then I need crossbars and then the ski racks on top of that. That really adds up in complexity and cost. This one is so easy to mount and use, I'm wish I got this sooner. Just clean my roof, put the vacuum cups to good use, and bam I'm ready to go! And when I'm on my trip and I don't need skis on my roof I can take them off easy-peasy. The problem I have with regular racks is the increased air resistance which decreases my mpg my 2-3 which is bad since I only get 16 on average anyways. These I don't need them they come off in a very seconds. With a traditional system I have get the tools, put on gloves so I don't break my fingers, then painstakingly take off the ski rack, then the cross bars… yuck. For usage it seems to hold at least three pairs of skis or two snowboards and a pair of skis. I only have three skis, but it looks like it could fit four side-by-side. Very versatile. So versatile, I don't even use my regular ski racks on my cars I have cross bars and ski racks for. I can just move this around to the cars I need. It's kind of big, but can probably be used on rental cars if you are willing to check these in. I'm a happy with this product. Even with the limited experience on them, but I showed them to a couple friends and they want them too now. The only I have is there is no way to actually secure them to the roof of you car since they're vacuum cups and not screws, the locks are kind of pointless being anyone can take these off your roof, skis and all, but like I said once you get to your destination, take it off your roof and you're good to go! Recommend for sure.

I was nervous at first using this, not wanting to lose hundred$ in ski gear. However, there wasn't a single problem. We drove for 9 hours each way, had crazy cold weather, got over 80 on the highway...no loss of suction at all. Of course, every time we stopped I checked the buttons, but they were solid every time. This is a great product that saves a lot of money putting a rack on top of a car, and can be moved between cars very easily. Highly recommend.

I own a vehicle that cannot mount roof racks and the SeaSucker's cups address this need. The attachment mechanism is innovative and sturdy. Mounting is quick and removing is quicker. Dirt on the roof or freezing temp might affect your ability to mount the cups (wipe the attachment area clean and keep the cups inside to avoid freezing them), but this is easy to plan for.Easy on, easy off.I had a problem with the rack itself (the latch stuck, making it always open or pop open). SeaSucker customer service worked with me to get the issue resolved. It is a growing company so your back and forth time might take a bit to get customer service issues resolved.

I purchased these for my SUV that has a glass panorama roof since I did not want to purchase side rails and cross-bars due to the cost. These work very well and are easy to install, I have used them for a 5 hour trip twice now without issue and plan to use them many more times.

Bought this for my Range Rover Velar as it does not have factory roof rails. So this is perfect for carrying my board along with 3 friends to the slopes. The only issue I’ve had is that one of the locks is very sticky and I have to leave the key in it to open it.

Utilizzato con una 992. Semplice ed immediato il montaggio e lo smontaggio, nessun problema di utilizzo anche a 130km/h in autostrada. Ottima soluzione per chi non vuol rinunciare all'uso della sua sportiva anche per la montagna.
