I recently installed the Seco-Larm electromagnet gate lock (1,300 pound pull force) on my LiftMaster LA500UL dual swing gate system, and I couldn’t be more pleased. The installation went smoothly; I chose to weld it onto the gate since I personally think that’s best, but it could easily be bolted as well. Some reviewers have mentioned issues with the wire length, but I didn’t find this to be a problem. In fact, it is too long if you use the junction box that is integrated with the magnet housing. I chose to cut the stock wire and then solder it to the longer wire that I routed through the gate's steel tubing to the controller. One minor note: I wish Seco-Larm’s “suggested†Z bracket (for dual swing installations) was available in steel rather than only aluminum alloy. Since I couldn’t find a steel option, I ended up fabricating one myself from 3/16-inch scrap steel plates, which worked great, but was an extra step that I would have happily spent the $30 to avoid.Overall, the Seco-Larm electromagnet gate lock is a solid, reliable choice for securing my gate, and I’m very satisfied with its performance!

US automatic gate centurygate opener model 300Works great with the century gate. I had to order a new panel for it because my panel wouldn’t operate the magnetic lock. I am so glad I did it very difficult to force open and squeeze between without breaking your gate.

I’m very impressed. I agree with another reviewer that the wiring is short but I had an electrician friend install it and it more than does the job. The accessory bracket I bought was a grey metal finish. I spray painted it black so it blends in with my fence. More than pleased.

Installed the mag lock on the Lift Master LA500 swing gate. Did some research about installation wiring and found a good YouTube instructional video. I wired the mag lock using the 24 volt option. I added RTV for a good weather seal. I deducted 1 star due to the very short wire that came with the mag lock. So far the mag lock is performing well.
