The picture shows my old corded glue gun and the new Seekone glue gun (fitted out with a clone DeWalt battery). As it shows, the physical handles and gun parts are comparable in size, but the battery does add some size and weight, which might matter if you're working in a tight spot. The trigger works very smoothly and gives a bit more leverage than I get on the corded glue gun. The nozzle is advertised as having an anti-drip design and so far I've found this to work well. My corded gun oozes glue all over the place, so I do like this feature. I also like the on/off button which is much better than my corded gun that I have to un-plug to turn it off. Once you turn it on, it takes a minute or two to get the glue melted, which is a similar wait time as my corded gun. The blinking LED is a nice feature that saves a bit of effort since you can just look over and see if it's ready rather having to physically check it. The light seems to be a little more sensitive than it needs to be, however, since squeezing out a little glue can get it blinking (even though I'm pretty sure the glue is heated up sufficiently). Now that I've played around with this, I wish I'd gotten a cordless glue gun a long time ago. A lot of times when working on a project, there isn't an outlet handy to plug in a glue gun. Then you have to stop work and set up a long enough extension cord. Yes, it's a minor annoyance, but I'm really going to enjoy not having to worry about it! Anyway, I haven't seen any negatives yet.

This glue gun is more than a bit bulky compared to most corded guns, but that is obvious from the on line ad. The tradeoff with a corded gun is straightforward; its bulk will hinder its use in some applications where access is restricted but it's a lot more convenient if there's not an electrical outlet close by. Its warmup time seems comparable to my old corded gun.

I've been using this cordless glue gun. It is an amazing performer!I have several DeWalt batteries that are usually underutilized. This glue gun puts them to good use. I had a project this weekend that required hot glue. I put the glue gun to the test... It passed with flying colors. I'm surprised at how quickly it heats up. Really just takes a couple of minutes and the glue is piping hot. Also, the batteries last longer than I expected. Certainly, using them to power a heating element draws a lot of current, but I had no problems keeping the glue gun operating all day with just a couple of batteries. All in all, this is a wonderful tool. It is so much better than I expected and nice to use it without a cord. Impressive...If you're looking for a glue gun, cordless or not, and already have an investment in DeWalt 20V batteries, I wholeheartedly recommend this one. You will not be disappointed.
Busier than expected

The SEEKONE Hot Glue Gun fit on my 20v battery and took about 90 seconds to heat from room temperature. There's a light on the top that blinks while it is heating and glows steady when it reaches temperature, which is nicer than other plug-in glue guns I've used. I already have a good collection of batteries so it was nice to get one that fits on the system I use. It came with 20 full-size glue sticks so it was ready to go once I put my battery on. No complaints!

I've had a simple hot glue gun for decades that's done the job, but I love anything that uses Dewalt batteries, so I grabbed this. It's fairly light and small, and with the battery attached, can stand properly while it's on. My old corded gun had to be propped onto a stand, so I'm happy with this.It took 2 minutes to heat up to usefulness, and then it worked quite well.
