To start off with an important fact - this “mini hot glue gun” from Capakids does *NOT* have a dual temperature feature as stated in its description. “Style: 20W Hot Glue Gun WHAT YOU CAN GET - This hot glue gun kit includes one dual-temp hot glue gun.” There’s just one switch, and it’s for on/off only. I was expecting dual switches that said “high” and “low,“ for example, to use the least heat that would do the job. It’s just fine as glue guns go, but I don’t appreciate product sellers who claim false features.I’m not a “crafty” person, so this will get limited use, but for those few times when a glue gun is needed, this one works well. I like the fact it has a ceramic heating element inside which makes it much safer to use. So, use this information to decide if this hot glue gun from Capakids is what you need. I also question the need for the pretty hefty price tag of 25 usd at the time I ordered it and the day/time I reviewed it!

I didn't need a fancy or big hot glue gun. Randomly, I would need one to fix things. I'm no crafter, but this little gun does what I need. It heats up fast and works. Now, I can stop borrowing one from my mother. The added glue sticks are great!

This worked as expected, and is a nice size for children to use, not as heavy as a larger version. Decent product.

A few things to note here - I cant figure out why the price... it is very basic and does the same job as the $10 glue guns at every craft store.... that said, It does heat up very fast and is easy to use with consistent flow. It claims to be dual-temp, however it is not. you get only one temp - which is hot. I like that it comes with glue sticks, but even that doesnt make up for the price. maybe it's the ceramic core?
