I bought this because I had an extra speaker and needed a cabinet - I didn't want to spend a lot and this seemed to fit the bill and seems reasonably rugged. For the price, not complaining, but there are a few differences between this and a more expensive cabinet.1. Thinner plywood construction 1/2" vs. 3/4" on more expensive cabinets. I don't detect any unreasonable sonic difference from resonance and seems reasonably strong though.2. The outer fit and finish is good, the tolex covering feels a little thinner than top end cabinets, but again seems fine. It might get dinged up more than a heavier tolex. but hard to say.3. Interior fit and finish is a little rough, the cut out for the speaker is a little ragged, but not bad.4. The mounting threaded inserts for the speaker are flush mounted for rear loading of the speaker, but there are two Phillips head screws that flank the threaded insert on either side of the threaded insert. Not sure why they did that - it might be so that you don't overcompress the gasket on the speaker?5. Wiring and jack seemed of normal quality.Overall, the cabinet sounded fine and looks pretty good, hardware is not super heavy duty but this works for my purposes. For the price, very happy with this. If you need a road worthy cab for heavy abuse, this would probably hold up but would not take a ton of abuse. I would buy again so I can leave inexpensive cabinets at band mates houses for practice

This cab is very well constructed. Nice 1/2†void free 7 ply plywood. I like it because it’s a little lighter than if it was 3/4â€. If you think you can “hear†the difference, stop reading now! Otherwise, it’s deeper than it looks in the pics. 12†so it’s not exactly small. I’ve tested it next to my Marshall 4x12†and I don’t hear a difference with my ear right next to the speaker. In other words, it will sound almost, if not identical, to a 4x12†when mic’ed. That’s what we’re all looking for right? No fit all speaker cabinet will fit every speaker perfect. I installed an EV12L in mine and had to drill the holes out to make then larger and install t-nuts to secure the speaker. Not included by the way, but no biggie. An EV12L has one one the largest magnets (google it). Most Celestions would be fine with just some wood screws. 4 are provided, but they are kinda to small. Bottom line. A great buy for they money, but be prepared to buy some different mounting hardware, and maybe a drill bit.

Great cab with a v30 in it. Price is great for solid construction and easy install. Only issue was I needed washers to install the speaker, not a big deal about a dollar for washers, you may not need any but having some before install would be the safest bet.

Great, quality built cab. It looks good as is, but you can always add a little flair and customization with a different but easily changeable speaker grill cloth. A great way to give it your own personal touch.

The cab is setup for front mounting the speakers, anchors in the back. Would have been nice if it came without the anchors installed just holes. Not that they couldn't be removed and attached on the front for rear mounting. The screw heads worked fine on both speaker I tried in it.It sounds great, no complaints there. Though it would have been nice to have a removable back section but that would cut into the profit or increase the price. I may mod it down the road.It seems sturdy enough, but not like a name brand cab. I am using inside for practicing and have no worries. Not sure if I would trust it for gigging though. I definitely wouldn't stand on it like I have stood on more solid cabs in the past.It works great for what I wanted it for.

This would have been an awesome five star except that the speaker hole was cut slightly oversized, and slightly off center. I adapted the speaker to fit. One of the cheap jacks on the back needed to be replaced. Some features, 7 ply, 1/2 in plywood construction, solid as a rock, closed back. Other than above, it’s a great box. Deep enough for a coffee-can EV. I put an old SRO EV that I had and it sounds great, but heavy.

Find the holes and punch them out. Then add speaker. done in 2 minutes. Looks great. Sound is speaker dependent so I would say mine sounded great. Speake hole wasn't round but close enough to work. The remainder of the workman ship looked good. It was well worth the money

Good value. Others mentioned having to poke a hold in the Tolex for the mounting screws -- no big deal [ that's normal ].The tolex work looks great. I lined my inside back and sides with panels cut from a 24" x 48" fiberglass ceiling tile. I cut a hole on the back fiberglass panel for the 2 speaker input jacks. I stapled the fiberglass panels in. They help to dampen standing waves and lower the box Q.I suggest front mounting the speaker. I lightly sanded the 12 inch hole, however, that's a moot point if you front mount the speaker.I'm glad I purchased this cabinet.
