Tried several cabs for a Marshall all tube head and a pairing of a Creamback 75 and V30. The semi-open back of this cab along with the larger cab dimension in the Seismic Luke 212 sounded perfect in a large room against a wall. Everything was included for wiring and mounting and construction was very good and as stated. If you front mount the speakers as I did you will have to find where the mounting holes in the front are located under the tolex in the speaker baffle and complete the opening for the screw with a sharp pointed object but very easy to do. I replaced the screws that came with it with M4 screws from my local hardware only so that they would be black instead of silver to match the black tolex and speakers and had to add a small washer to the screws so they were large enough to hold the speaker but all the holes lined up with my speakers perfectly. I am not a big fan of the very modern looking silver logo on a vintage looking cab but can live with it considering the excellent sound and build quality.

If I could use one word, it would be Impressed! 2 words? Super Impressed! Great price! Super fast, safe, secure shipping (free no less :) that's just the start👠well, thoughtfully packed - the cab itself is beautiful - solid birch ply all around! (Seismic says 7, but I counted 9) Great tolex job! Love it 💙 Loaded it with 2 old 12" 70s Radio Shack Realistics and it sounds fab!

Needed to drop the 4x12 cab. With the cumbersome 92lbs, I just couldn't justify it. Plus I was running into the issue that I was too loud, but could never hear myself. Decided to try this empty cab and drill in the speakers from the old. With an amp stand and this all birch construction, I can actually play with a band.So lets talk cabs. If you're stepping away from combo amps, then this really is the ticket. Plug in any speakers you want (it's easy!), and play away. You can seriously get the celestion greenbacks or bluebacks, plug them in here and you have a $1,000 cab.Buyer beware, speaker mounting holes are not consistent. This cab has predrilled/set holes which are fantastic, but my speakers didn't fit. No worries, you can literally use wood screws and set them yourself, or drill holes into the speaker's mounting ring.

My 5th cabinet from Seismic, I use all their cabs, for both bass and guitar. Everything about the cabinet was perfectly done. Speakers mounted easily and within 20 minutes I was playing. Seems that their QC was on the money on this one. Very happy, recommended for the hobbyists and pros alike.

I guess structurally the box is fine but for the speaker cutouts none of the screws match up with the holes that were given, so the only thing I can think to do is to widen the holes on my 12-inch speakers or undo the work that they did to the cutouts for the speakers and mount them differently differently

It was time to retire my good ol’ Marshall 4x12 mg series loaded with Eminence speakers. The composite wood wasn’t doing the speakers justice. The name brand cabinets (orange, Mesa, Vader, etc) were out of my price range . I thought I’ll look up what they used to construct their cabs . Came up with Birchwood and seven layer pinewood .Scoured the internet for empty cabinets made from those wood types.I found the Seismic 2x12 .Wasn’t too impressed by the photo but what the hell? Music isn’t loved for its looks anyway.Package shows up at my house door 35 minutes before work so I raced through my tool drawer grabbed my sharpest box cutter and unearthed what appeared to be a GIANT FRESHLY CUT BLOCK OF CHEESE WITH A BLACK SCREEN. And I must say ....I LOVE THE LOOK! It POPS! Not only does it looks fantastic it weighs next to NOTHING. Very light!Bust out my power drill, stick in a philips bit and installed 2 150 watt 8 ohm Swamp Thangs with a quickness even the NASCAR mechanics would be proud to see!Plug into my Hughes and kettner black spirit , give it the Riff Raff.... this Cabinet, combined with the Swamp Thangs, delivers! Period! This cab BOOGIES! It brings out a tone you’d NEVER hear out if your speakers for the price.Buy one today!

It is a lot bigger than I thought in overall size. But I loaded it with Custom Celestions and it sounds great with a 50w DV Mark CMT going through.

Fantastic open back cabinet. Well constructed, great job on the tolex application and the fact that the cover comes off the front to access the speakers is nice. Great flexibility to front of rear mount the speakers. Comes pre-wired as well so it’s basically plug and play. Nice little 2X12 cabinet at a great price!
