I like that these use an actual titanium compression dome tweeter, very nice. Sound was far better than the previous mTx 12" 2 way Thunders previously used. Are they EV's, no, but they are a fraction of the cost! Very good budget (quality sounding) pro-style speakers. Would consider others in the line up should the time come to get a bit bigger, and a bit louder! I use them for monitors and I have been using them for playback of my electric drums as of late. They are accurate enough and have a pretty fast attack for the $$ spent. The low end is adequate (typical for PA style monitors, mid 40's) for the drums so a sub may be in the offing!

I LOVE these speakers! I ordered to with the intent to use them as home theater main speakers,and they sound GREAT! The ONLY problem was that the first one that I opened was fine,the second-NOT SO MUCH! These babies are STOUT (about 70 lbs!)and moving them around is NOT for the faint of heart! Immediately after I began to unbox it,I realized that it was making noises that it should not be! As I pulled the speaker out of the box,I IMMEDIATELY went LIVID! I saw a busted enclosure that looked like it had been kicked in,the bottom 15" woofer was laying in the bottom of the enclosure itself,and the metal screen that is the protective facing was bent so bad that it had popped out of place! I must admit,I have PTSD,and a couple anxiety/anger issues that help that right along;and when I contacted the SoundTown,I was NOT looking to make Friends! Shortly after leaving a couple messages,I received a phone call from Mr. Fanson Zhou with SoundTown Customer Service. He asked for some pictures to validate my report,and was calm cool and collected which settled me down pretty quick. After he received the pictures,he notified me that my replacement was already being processed,and that he would let me know the tracking info when it was shipped. Within a few days I received my new speaker,and had it hooked to my stereo in just a few minutes. This could have REALLY been a rollercoaster ride to sort out,but Thanks to Mr. Zhou,it was quick and easy. I will be buying my Brother a set of the single 15" PA speakers,as soon as we get the living room set up;and YES IT WILL BE THROUGH SOUNDTOWN!! 5 star way to save a sale! Thank You!

The subwoofer was hanging on by only 3 screws. The rest were missing. The particle board around the sub was chipped and cracked. Nowhere to drill new holes. The protective mesh was also missing screws. It was clinging on by 1 screw. Soundtown refused to pay for the return shipping. Do not buy. They don’t stand by their products.

I got the 2 pack 12†speakers and they are definitely worth the money. Built rugged and they sound great. I spent a few days debating between this one and a few others and it seems the Sound Town one comes with a compression driver, which is not usually used for a PA speaker at this pricing point. The speaker has a standard mounting socket on the bottom which allows you to elevate them.Overall, plenty of volume without distortion, very good general use speaker at a very reasonable price.

Bought them for my son, and he's happy with them. If I had it to do over again, I would have went a little bigger in speaker size.

These are awesome speakers from sound town. I recommend these and I would purchase this brand again. Great value for the money
