C-7000 Spectrometer A portable handheld spectrometer designed for industrial use
The C-7000 Spectrometer is a portable handheld spectrometer, designed especially for industrial use. Utilizing Sekonic’s CMOS linear image sensor design and large touch-screen color display, the C-7000 can measure and accurately describe LED, HMI, fluorescent, as well as natural light, and electronic flash. The C-7000’s Utility software displays memorized data in several ways and outputs spectral data in 1nm/5nm (nanometer) increments in CSV format. The C-7000 is an important measuring tool for quality control in lamp manufacturing, medical facilities, educational / office safety, and health standards, agricultural lighting/design, and many more industrial uses.

- Wide measurement range of Color Temperature (1,563 to 100,000K) and illuminance (1 to 200,000lx in ambient light, 20 to 20,500lx・s in flash light)
- Conforms to Class A of JIS C 1609-1: 2006, and DIN 5032 Part 7 Class C as Illuminance meter class
- Text Mode with more measurement for Industrial use such as Tcp, ⊿uv, XYZ, λd, λp, Pe

I analyze architectural and natural lighting sources for work, and this device has been great! Lesser-cost devices ($300 or so) will provide results, but are not accurate. This device has proven to be very accurate and consistent. The only thing it does not have is constant ambient monitoring (or if it does, I haven't discovered the feature). Have to press the button each time to capture a reading. Other than that, this has definitely been a solid investment into my tool set.

This thing is a beast. Everything and more for what you need in your daily endeavors.I work as a projectionist and use this device to color correct projectors when I blend them. There are more features than I will ever use, but as a techie, I enjoy having more than not enough. I never get anything without doing extensive research so it was a big deal to drop the cash on this bad boy and I regret nothing.If you are a pro that respects yourself, go all out and you won’t be disappointed

This device is great. Very accurate when compared to a $25k imaging colorimeter setup that is officially calibrated yearly.

The screen I use more than anything is the CIE-1931 chart with the kelvin temperature line. If you want to match projectors and led walls fast this meter is great.

Sekonic C7000 is professional and excellent device.Great UI, very responsive and reliable tool, has simple and useful SW to get all the data.
