I didn't check the size, my fault, these are about 3" in length which are too short for most doors in larger homes too be effective. If you need it to close small items or homemade lock boxes I think they will be good. Strong metal, easy to install. Instructions are tiny.

While I generally appreciated the item, one of the brackets was missing from the box, so I was only able to use 3 of them. The reason why I reduced the rating more than a star for quality control is the company that produces these, offers an email address that doesn't work, so there is no means to contact them about replacement. Best to look elsewhere.

Since I am working from home due to COVID19, it is imperative that I am able to secure a quiet and safe space where I could work without interruption. I got tired of my housemates walking in on my video meetings orbinterrupting me while I was on a conference call. A latch lock was the simple and best solution. These locks are very durable!! They keep out the noise and unnecessary distractions. This company has the best customer service department. There was a problem with shipping and Amazon customer service is MIA due to COVID19, but Heleman was quick to resolve my issue. They are 5 star.
