Connect 2.8K weatherproof dry contact temperature probe to any available input terminal of Sensaphone Models 400 or 800 . Refer to your Sensaphone manual for configuration and programming. Use with 1100 series, 4100, Express, Express II, 2000 as well. Connect probe by removing any existing wiring or sensors (including the local thermistor) from the input terminal. Then attach the wire from the weatherproof temperature probe to the input terminal and ground, respectively. While this temperature sensor is completely weatherproof, do not submerge it completely. Very accurate, and works well with about 100' of extension cable wired to it. Reads full degrees (not tenths) into the Sensaphone. I use it to measure the internal cabinet temperature of a generator next to the house, and it's perfect for the application.

Simple and easy to install.FGD0400 - Sensaphone 400 itself has a mini thermometer detector already and it didn't let the buyer know.So I place this extra thermometer away from the machine at different location to get the temperature difference in front of/behind the machines.
