Easy to add to a Rasp Pi. The website has the Python code and setup instructions, which was easy to follow, and the comments shows code that my 10-year old could adapt to run several in parallel.

Works like a charm with the available library on an ESP8266 / NodeMCU. Really simple programming task to get a web-based BBQ thermometer set up.I don't understand why it comes with a threaded housing and no nut to place on the other side of a piece of sheet metal.Does anyone know what the nut should be for this?

1) Hard o wire when using multiple sensors on one PI2) No instructions how to wire (multiple) sensors3) With multiple sensors, reading appears to be off 1-2 degrees.4) In a 4 day period, 2 sensors stopped5) Would be nice if longer wires would be possible

3 of the 4 of this set of DS18B20 sensors did not work. I was trying to use them with an ESP0266 microcontroller, and was successful with only one of the four. I purchased 3 others from AliExpress, and they all worked fine. I may try them at 5v on a Raspberry Pi, but they're advertised as working with 3-5v.

The product images show two different wiring diagrams. If course I didn't realize this until after the wrong diagram fried one of these sensors. Once if figured out the vendor's mistake, I got it working. This was totally avoidable.

set of four: one worked for a couple of minutes, one had a dead short across the power leads, and two returned a fixed value no matter what
