This skimmer works better than you think. Works best, if pool is kept at a certain water level but it’s adjustable so that’s great! Super easy to install. I did it myself ðŸ˜Doesn’t contain smaller debris very well and I have found it easier to use my hand skimmer. I use the hand skimmer around the pool skimmer to get debris it has contained.

It literally snapped in half at the curve 2 days after my refund/return date. Really hard to keep level in the water. The handle kept coming off of the basket. 0/10 wouldn’t buy it again.

Fits on our frames pool perfect. We have the size 15/42 intex pool. I think it might work a little better if the pool pump was a little stronger. We have plugged the other intake hose to where the water would filter through the skimmer. Works perfectly when putting pool clarifier tablets in it. It does help get some bugs and leaves out of the pool when it passes over the skimmer.

I didn’t think a cheap plastic skimmer would really make a difference but with the number of dead bugs in my pool every day, I had to try it… I wish I had bought this years ago!! It keeps the pool surface perfectly clean. If a bug lands, it’s cleared away in less than an hour. Highly recommend!

Only thing I don’t like is that where you tighten it you have to be careful or it will crack, It cracked when I moved it a little and thus had to go buy a new one, which has 2 screws on it which I think works better than this, honestly I probably would stay away from this one as yes cheap but cheaply made also! The handle on basket broke too so if you want quality buy a intex one they are so much better. I wasted money on this. Performance sucked honestly.

This did not skim the water at all. We even upgraded our pool filter for better suction. Very little debris just floated about the skimmer, it did not collect in the basket.
