When you attach the tube to the hole at the edge of the top plate, the desktop speaker stand can be installed against the wall without the need to leave space between the wall and the desk, greatly improving practicality.

Wasn’t too hard to assemble, relatively sturdy materials, and the extra height over what else I compared it to is a plus for my set up. The isolation pads aren’t the greatest, but they do work well enough, definitely something I will consider upgrading in the future. My biggest gripe is that the clamps on the bottom aren’t very wide, the speakers can easily wobble a bit. Something with a wider base would be a better option. They don’t wobble much while in use really so it’s not a huge deal. For the price it’s a good way to improve your set up would recommend to someone. The clamps might also eat into your desks finish a bit, the pads on the bottom clamps for me wore off pretty quick. (Note I have KRK Classic 5s mounted on these.)

While these stands are quite effective, I've noticed a few areas for improvement, especially when mounting them on materials like particle board or MDF furniture. The depth of the mounting portion seems a bit shallow, and it only has a single screw for attachment.For my 8-inch monitors on the mixing desk, they do experience some vibrations, even when securely fastened, which makes them feel a bit unstable. Additionally, the stands don’t seem to grip the edge of the table securely enough, leading to a slight wobble.I believe enhancing the mounting design and providing additional support could significantly improve their stability. I definitely want to ensure my new studio monitors are secure and safe!

This product is very sturdy. Isolation pads work excellent and provide many options for angle adjustment. Wasn’t sure if they would be strong enough but they are doing great.

Really enjoy these monitor stands. Well made and look good. My monitors are a bit heavy, but they're holding the weight beautifully. Of I had to ding something ot would be the desk clamp part of it. It works fine, but wish they used a little thicker steel to reduce the flex when tightening. Highly recommend them.

Probably work for very lightweight monitors. The base is small and wobbly. Put my active monitor there and everytime I move the desk even by a tiny bit I can feel the sway.

As Amazon said they couldn't ship these to NZ, I bought them through eBay -- but they turned up in an Amazon bag anyway.On the positive, I really like the cable-management holes in the poles of these stands.Unfortunately, the clamps are REALLY sub-standard. They are too narrow, the cushioning on them is too thick and soft, and the small, plastic tightening knobs on them allow insufficient leverage for a tight fit (Allen key heads would have been both cheaper, and allow better tightening). The result was that the stands were noticeably wobbly.I ended up buying a pair of compatible monitor stand clamps to replace them -- the difference was startling.Looking around, I don't know if there are ANY monitor stands with what look like sturdy clamps -- but I suspect these are worse than most.

My speakers are pretty heavy for their size. They don't move around, and I haven't had to adjust since I bought them 6 months ago. They hold my speakers at the perfect height above my monitors, so a match made in heaven

Double clamps are even more secure. Foam pads for isolating the speakers but also allow you to angle them vertically. Comes with all you need for your studio monitors!
