Once I figured out that this was the problem, replacing the part fixed it and my machine works beautifully now. Sewed a whole pair of pyjamas from scratch and I did not encounter any issues

I have. a Singer S3342. After re-tensioning the bobbin case for a double needle it wouldn't go back to normal, so I got this new one and it's a perfect fit, exact match, only with yellow paint on a screw instead of white, making it wasy to tell my two cases apart. Easy 5 stars

I have a singer heavy duty machine and the the thread continued to bird nest even after cleaning, new needle. The bobbin case was the culprit. This purchase solved the problem.
