Just received and installed. Installation was easy, good quality, affordable product. I used it on the front door of a tiny home and it's perfect. Would highly recommend this shade for anyone needed afternoon sun blocked

These window treatments are easy to install, block out light thoroughly, and help insulate against cold temperatures. They function smoothly as well.

Forget what you know about how much of a pain hanging shades can be when it comes to this shade ,.. it’s so easy to hang and fit in any size window that a 2yr old could do it and because of its sliding mechanism, there will be no worry of getting it just right over the window as you can adjust it by sliding it side to side once it’s in its brackets that are just as easy to put on the wall and snap the shade right in that also have a easy push button release to remove the shade,… in all I have to say it is a super good deal and worth the money for sure I was skeptical at first, but wow, it’s the best shade I’ve ever owned and I’m a hard Customer to please. I promise you.

These Shademoon Cordless 100% Blackout Window Roller Shades are awesome, and just what I was looking for in my living room! I didn't want curtains over my living room windows, which open to my backyard, but since they are southern-facing, sometimes the sun exposure gets to be too much and I needed a way to temporarily block the very strong UV rays. These roller shades were the perfect solution; up and out of the way and unobtrusive when I didn't need them down - so much so I barely notice them there - and down when I need to block the sun a bit. I love that these shades come in a huge variety of sizes; my casement living room windows are an odd width, so finding shades for them had proven difficult. The variety of sizes available meant I could easily find ones that would fit my windows. I love that they don't have cords, which are not only ugly but dangerous if you have kids or pets. The shades roll down very smoothly with a gentle pull, and do block a good portion of the light and UV rays. Those that are used to the shades of old may have to get used to putting them back up though. Instead of a firm tug, these work much better by a slow, simple pull that gently raises them back to their home position. I like these so much that I ordered a second one for another window in my home! Great price, too!

The install was very easy and I should point out that the snap on clip bracket is a really nice design. The hanging clip is made from sturdy metal and once the shade holder snaps onto the bracket you can hardly see the bracket. I thought the functional design of this is unique from anything I've seen in the past.They blocked out light far better than I expected. I ordered them about 3/4" of an inch less than the actual width of the finished inside opening of my window expecting that some light would come through around the edges. The way the shade was cut, it seems that 3/4" was just right and some but not much light comes from the edges. I should note that doing an 'inside mount' rather than out allows you to position the shade closer to the window sashes which helps with light blocking.The grey color looks great and also adds to the light blocking. I do highly recommend these of you're looking for simple and functional. Beauty not so much but for me, less light coming through is beautiful!

This works exceptionally well as a blackout shade. I love the mounting hardware, It made handing this completely painless, and it's very easy to remove the shade from the mounts. There is a button on the bottom of the mount that you press to release the shade if you need to take it down.If you buy this, be sure to read the compete description and purchase the proper size. They recommend purchasing a shade that's 4 inches wider than the window so it has good coverage. They clearly indicate this in the description, but I wasn't paying attention and missed it - completely my fault.This does block 100% of light even during the day. I'm about to buy these for all of my bedroom windows. I highly recommend these shades.
