These look awesome on my 1/10 scale Exceed rally truck. They are super bright and plenty of wiring length to fit inside the chassis.I drilled pilot holes through electrical tape (to keep the shell from cracking) and worked up to a 3/8 inch bit. From there just had to put the lights through and tighten the nuts down. Then secured the wiring in place with hot glue.Super cheap and super cool upgrade to an RC car or truck. Also makes it a lot easier to run around at night.

So far they working great, my son's happy. Looks great with the light on (forgot to take with lights on). Little tedious taking things apart to install, but its cool learning something, especially in the RC world. Plug and play action. Highly recommended.

It's an 8 led light piece that's all tied into 1 connector. I thought these were 8 individual leds, which they are, but they are all tied together so set up can be difficult depending on how you want it. 4 white and 4 red lights, so if you only want to use 2 and 2 you'd have to cut off the other leds. Still works nicely and I can figure out a way to mount these up.

Excellent lights. During the winter seasons the car gets driven mostly at night and these lights are great. Simple plug and play. The only complaint I have isnt really a complaint. There is alot of wire which for this install was a pain in the butt but the body I installed on is rather small. Having too much wire is not a bad thing at all. A little tape and hot glue and they were tucked away nicely. The wire that leads to the receiver is plenty long so you have enough slack where you dont have to constantly disconnect which is great! I did smash into a wall almost immediately after installing. A part of my garage broke but the lights remained unharmed. Thank you for a great product at a really good price!

Love these lights. Installed these lights on my Xmaxx's body. I have an exo cage on my Xmaxx so not worried about hits damaging the led lights. To install these lights properly on an Xmaxx body or any RC body you are going to need a specialized tool called a body reamer. Their purpose is to make custom fit holes in RC lexan bodies. RC body reamers are $10 on Amazon. Also for my Xmaxx install i needed some cable extensions (search for servo cable extension on Amazon). I also used some zip ties and tape to make the install cleaner (this kit has a lot of wires, 2 wires for each of the 8 led lights).These LED lights put out a fair amount of light. Not blinding light but plenty to see the RC outside at night. I recommend this kit.

at first this product worked awesome on my first truck until age got the best of the lights and the wires started falling apart and i was impressed how long they lasted but when i went and got my second pair of these lights i was hoping it would last a little longer, once i finished my new build with a chevy silverado hard body and got all the lights hooked up and glued in i was hoping that i could just plug and go but that was not the case, i ended up upgrading to a nice EXPENSIVE hobbywing esc hooked up to my spectrum receiver and transmitter. i ran some practice runs before the lights got to the bench to see if the truck had any rubbing and after all my tests on the truck were done it was my final process to instal the lights. after i get them hooked up i hit the trails and about half way there my truck stopped and i figured out i fried my esc and it was thanks to my new lights i installed. I hope that the manufacture can try and fix there products mistake.
