I have been eye balling the old version of this fan with a mister last year, when the Michigan summer was hitting hard. I love the idea of the mister, but didn't really like the fact that it needed to be attached to a garden hose and that the misting nozzles attach to the front instead of being integrated into the fan.Last month, I saw this on Amazon and needed to have it - the fact that you have the nozzles integrated into the fan and that you have a water reservoir on the pedestal is amazing and well worth the extra $50. I got this as a Valentine's Day gift for my husband and he couldn't wait to unpack it. It's amazing! The fan moves a ton of air, incredible. We tried the misting function in the mancave and loved the feel of it. You can feel it cooling on your skin right away, to the point of feeling cold. The water reservoir is removable so you can bring it to faucet. Misting is an outdoor function, as the mist does moisten the floor.Next, the detachable fan head - it comes out easily, just press the button and pull up. It makes this the perfect tabletop fan. Since the reservoir is removable, you can use it as a tabletop fan while still getting the mist. Power is uninterrupted while moving which is nice. I wish the head's oscillating motion was as flexible as the one on my Dreo pedestal fan, which goes straight up and down, right and left and basically creates a wind orbit. This has the standard oscillation, which is fine and actually normal. You can manually tilt the head to adjust the angle.Now, add to all of this the fact that it runs on battery is great for anything outdoors, from your backyard to camping to a day at the beach. The claim is 24 hours at speed 1, 6 at 3, and 2 at max speed, cannot verify that yet. It is heavy but the handle that is part of the head makes it easy to carry it around.The only thing I don't like is the remote which I find a bit confusing. It attaches nicely with a magnet to the back of the head so you don't lose it that easily and have a place to store it.Overall, this is a very cool fan; it looks sleek and modern. Shark really thought this through and designed the whole device very well. 5* for sure!

Honestly this is one of those items that I never knew I needed until I got it. The fan has a build in battery and is lightweight enough to be carry around in and out of the house for various activities. The fan is whisper quiet on the lowest setting yet still delivers a nice breeze. It has all the usual controls, different speed settings, osculation and remote control and this new water spray function that I've seen in disneyland where they spray water droplets with the fan. I love that it comes with a remote control so you can control the fan even if sitting far away. The water bottle included has a large reservoir that holds enough to continuous spray while the fan is on. The fan can come apart from the stand to make it ultra portable. Overall this is a must have if you live in a hot environment and wants to enjoy some outdoor activities!

Just assemble it, mount it, press the on-button buttons, and it's done—nice and simple. The internal battery is good; it could last over 6 hours. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to test the mist function due to the current season, winter, but on a smaller scale, in the bathroom, it works great. For the price, this fan is expensive, but you definitely get what you paid for. A+

Amazing! This is awesome to have in hot weather when it's normally unbearable outside. Works really well and does a fine mist that doesn't leave you feeling "wet". Super easy to set up and use. An affordable alternative to installing misting fans in hot climates.

This is a nice quiet, portable fan with rechargeable battery. It has a remote and can oscillate to varying degrees. The fan can sit at floor level or you can use the included stand to place it at a greater height. If you live in a dry climate, the misting feature is probably going to differentiate this fan from others. In humid climates, the cooling effect of the mist will not be so great. We set this on the floor near our wood stove to spread the heat around a bit and appreciate how quiet it is. Have not tried out the misting feature yet. If you forget to turn it off, it will automatically reduce the speed after a while to conserve the battery. It looks good and works well.

yea, its a little on the expensive side for a fan, and I would consider it a luxury item. But it puts out a lot of wind for only a 10" fan. Battery last a long time, and has lots of options for speed and such.
