I have a combo lathe and have had no issues even when running in auto mode. Understand what your cutting and correct speeds required, and these will hold up great.

The box is very cheap and fell apart fast but the endmills are sharp and work great

everything i cut was, mystery steel, some was rusted badly. i will be ordering another set today. maybe two. it's getting harder to find mid range priced stuff that's worth a crap if you find something that works, stick with it.

Work great. I got these for a machining class I am taking. These have been great so far for machining materials like aluminum and steel. Haven't used these with stainless or other harder to machine materials.My only complaint about this is the box they come in. The only thing holding these in place is a piece of foam pressing against them when the cover is closed. The foam is not attached to the box in anyway. So once you lose it you'll have to stuff something in between the box lid and tools to keep them in place. Not a big deal though, I take these to school so it's a bit of an annoyance, but if you plan on keeping this inside a drawer or something it shouldn't be a problem.
