I bought these for a newly built doors on a generator shed. The hardware is very solid unlike some of that cheap crap I've seen being sold at other places. The metal is of a really good thickness. The springs for the upper and lower locking mechanisms are really strong and also well made. When I got all of the lock set attached to my doors and did a locking test it was locked very tightly. In the are where you can look at previous purchases on Amazon I would click on "Buy Again" if I needed more of these. A good purchase for me!

easy install and way tighter than the "old hasp and pad lock" that allows to much play in dor to door application.all barns/storage units should come with this type/style of locking sysytem

Replaced the little storage shed we had that was 30 years old and made doors for the shed as the steel doors were about $500 with casement. Since there are double doors I needed something that had a center latch and locking hardware for the second door. The stem of the handle is a little long but this is to work with even heavy doors. Ours are a 2x4 with 3/8" siding and a 1x trim on the outside.

The handle is made of a durable material that once installed is a strong handle. Good quality material, locks easily and appears to be a strong connection. The loop style barrel bolts are an added feature that adds extra security. The bolts are made of a strong material and the ability to push and lock the bolts included in the package were a bonus. Would definitely purchase this product again. I've seen just the handle selling for more than the combined product I purchased. Great deal.

Exactly what I expected. Quite happy with the locks and mechanisms, however, when I was tightening up the ‘lock bolt’ (don’t know what it would be called) to hold the D portion of the locking latch onto the bolt, one of the welds broke. I think it will still work, but I would have expected better considering how well the other portions are constructed.
