This is the 3rd handle I have bought for our outside storage building. The product is great and does exactly as it should. I just keep leaving the key in the lock and the wind will catch the door and slam against the side and break my key off in the door three times already!!! I would reccomend this item.

Our old shed lock had broken - the mechanism behind the lock had cracked, therefore I could not tighten the hex nut. I bought these as a replacement - seems to be better built than the old lock as this one looks to be steel. In any case, the new lock fit over the existing one perfectly - even the screw holes fit the old one.
