Mine doesn't look like the picture it is fragmented but is holding firm in the wood and isn't flaking. The product is great, gives great grip. It even cut the coating on my wives new cheaper rosin.

The rosin sticks very well and makes it sound way better. It was 6 dollars when I got it but the price did get raised. But I’d say it’s worth it, just make sure to be careful with it as rosin is fragile

It’s a decent rosin, not too tacky but defiantly provides decent grip. It can be used for violin, viola and of course the cello. I used it on my cello with great results. I tend to prefer tackier rosin and this was perfect. I would recommend it for anyone.

I was expecting to have mine in between the wood like on the picture so I took a star off. But it works great for me! And that’s really what matters. Mine is a circular cake of rosin glued onto a cloth, Sherman’s is great. Can’t go wrong with this one.

I've been buying this kind of resin for a long time. I teach stringed instruments--violin, viola, cello and bass--and I play the cello. This is very good resin, and you keep your hands clean because of the good packaging. I like this product.

I have always used this cello rosin. Put it on my bow the day I ordered it and you could immediately tell the difference in the way the bow gripped the strings.
