Great tool. Works pretty good, but I've only used it for the shift shaft seal on TH350/400/700r4. Don't know if it works for any of the older Ford and Chrysler trannies.

Have to hammer on it pretty good to get it started, but once it got threaded in it popped the seal right out. The seal installer worked perfect.

This works for a TH400. The bolt is too short that comes with it. I just happened to have a longer 3/8 bolt. Good tool for the price.

I used this tool to remove the selector shaft seal on a TH350 while installed in the vehicle. In my application (1971 Nova), I was unable to tap on the remover tool with a hammer due to interference from the exhaust header. Instead, I used a 2x4 against the frame and a longer bolt in the tool to provide light force while I turned the tool into the seal. The tool bit in to the seal on the first attempt. I then inserted a T25 torx bit into the remover tool to provide extra depth for the screw to apply force against the selector shaft. Deeper threads and a longer bolt on the tool would eliminate the need for the torx bit. It's somewhat universal, so... That's hot rodding!

Sloppy. Doesn't work on TH400. Bolt to short, metric. Won't go between shaft and seal. Will have to remove the old fastion way, just not alot to work with.Bought something different, worked great.

The trans had a seal very well stuck. After messed around for a bit I could feel it catching and could tell it was trying to pull it out. I had enough room to attach my electric drill to this and simple drilled the extractor in. Pulled out the seal with no issues after that.1968 gto th400 setup

Used this tool to remove the crankshaft seal on a Poulan Micro 25 chainsaw. Worked okay

As on youtube, bolt is not long enough, however, floor pan in the way if bolt longer. I just put a small bolt( loose) in other end to push seal in. Worked a treat.

Followed instructions, didn’t work. It ended up breaking the threads on the end when I tried to remove the seal, seems like the metal they used to make this tool is the cheapest they could find.
