I wear glasses and finding a good quality helmet to wear when I am grinding rust off of a project is sometimes impossible. This one is comfortable and protects both my face and protects my glasses from scratches. Best of all it does not limit visibility as there has not been any hazing.

I had my doubts but this is a great visor. I use mine for wood turning on my lathe and it fits over my glasses, doesn't fog, and , provides full vision.

the headband has zero padding on the back if you want to replace the headband you might as well buy a more expensive hood, the visibility is good but its very cheaply made, come with a cover

The SHINE STAWAR Grinding Helmet, Lightweight Cutting Face Shield with Anti-Fog & Scratch Resistance Clear Lens (Black Hood) works great to provide protection while allowing full vision. It wears like a good quality light weight welding helmet and is very comfortable once adjusted to your head. It allows grinding operations to go a lot faster and easier thanks to keeping debris/material from blasting you in the face and eliminating eye squinting. This is far better than using safety goggles and glasses. The anti-fog, scratch resistant window allows you to see your entire work area constantly and clearly. I'm very pleased with the quality and performance of the SHINE STAWAR Grinding Helmet and consider it an outstanding value!

I've been doing some pretty major changes to my shop recently and have been using the grinder a lot - I always wear safety glasses, but if a grinder wheel explodes at full speed then safety glasses aren't going to help the rest of your face. I finally picked one of these up and it's pretty nice, seems well built and has good coverage, shield is nice and clear. Took me a minute to figure out how to adjust the headband but I figured it out eventually. Overall a good addition to my shop.
