They feel like good quality, they fit snugly and have a little flex to the material to keep them in place. Hinge seems sturdy, and caps close tightly. I measured the outer diameter of both scope lenses with a caliper and used millimeters to order. They fit perfect.

I have flip up caps on all my optics. These work great, but you must be able to accurately measure your scope. They fit precise and don't give much so fit and availability of sizes is very important. The eyepieces occular adjuster is slightly larger than behind the adjuster, so the fit must be for the adjuster. This is a smaller area, and the fit is hard to get right. And since the adjuster moves, the alignment sometimes moves the vertical alignment. The rubber type work better on the eyepiece, as you can adjust the occular and install the rubber cap which will grip boht areas and not move easily.

I lost my dust cover to the spotting scope for my Meade LX-90 telescope a while ago. I ran across this item while looking for something I could use to cover my spotting scope lens for the solar eclipse (I bought a solar filter for the 8" tube, but you need to block your spotting scope whenever pointing at the sun). This 60mm cover is just perfect! It fit on very snugly, but all the way, and the hinged cap has a secure snapping into place so it will not accidentally flip open. It is lightly spring hinged, so will stay open once opened. There are two little ears on the cap to help you push it open.The cover has just the right amount of flexibility and 'stickiness', so I don't think it will ever come off unintentionally. Very glad to have made this purchase.

Purchased two caps from seller. The inside diameter of the 30mm cap purchased was actually 28.7 mm and was too small to fit. This caps plastic package was mislabelled with a decal stating it was 30mm. However, the inside diameter of the 35mm cap purchased was actually 35.7 mm and fit my 35mm scope perfectly.

Cleanly molded, good appearance. Snug fit to scope (that’s good). Cover snaps closed securely, holds solidly open with strong spring. Pleased with cover.Measuresd scope before ordering. Manufacture’s specs said 45mm diameter but I measured 44mm. Ordered 44mm and cover is a perfect tight fit. Pays to measure.Shipping takes a while, worth the wait.

Couldn't ask for a better fit. Slid on with a little resistance and stayed on without rotating. Great item for the price.
