I have an old Craftsman wet/dry vac that had no way to have dust bags installed. I thought I'd have to affix this with super glue or small bolts. But there were small channels that it fit right into! So now I can use dust bags when I want to. There is a small gap, but between the dust bag and the regular filter, I think that should be fine.

Should have come with the shop vac, but after trying in vain to reinforce the bags for 3 years I finally went ahead and got this. Now my shop vac doesn't clog up every day. The suction has gone strong for the since I installed it last week. I was planning to buy a large dust collector, but now I don't see the need! Don't hesitate if you have a shop vac without this attachment.

Yes, I must have thrown mine out with the old bag. Fear not, this is an exact fit replacement. A bit pricey but will not throw it out again.
