VIFLY ShortSaver V2 Smoke Stopper - No More Magic Smoke!
VIFLY ShortSaver V2 is a different smoke stopper to prevent “magic smoke”. Compared with other smoker stoppers like the automotive light-bulb or resettable fuse, VIFLY ShortSaver V2 adopts the advanced electronic fuse solution, it can completely cut off the current if a short circuit or wiring mistake is detected while others only can limit the current. VIFLY ShortSaver 2 is so smart that there is 1 Amp or 2 Amp threshold selector for your different needs. For small size build with more sensitive electronic components, you can select 1 Amp option, for large builds, 2 Amp option is the choice.

Works exactly as described and I love the option to use 2 amp instead of 1 amp for the 10†drones. Very quickly disconnects short loads. Does get hotter than I would like if you mess around with drone settings and leave the battery connect 10mins or more, but It’s not cause any problems yet. It’s mostly for quick short test anyways

When you purchase the ViFly products you get a quality and long lasting Smoke Stopper which has 1amp/2Amp setting. It also has an on/off switch making the binding process very easy instead of having 3 hands trying to hold down a bind button while trying to plug in a lipo battery. This is an essential for any hobbyist working with small electronics and batteries. This device has probably saved my but more than a few times after I get everything ready to plug in. This little device makes it so that when I mess up some soldering that I don't fry everything I worked hard for. This is honestly a small price to pay compared to the components it saved.

I really like this as an on-off switch for the battery it makes it much easier to plug in when you have to push the button to get in dfu mode. I was not 100% sure if my drone would take 6s so I use this thinking it would prevent damage, anyhow I had plugged in a storage charged 6s and it seemed ok, but after I fully charged the battery and with this on the default 1amp setting, my AIO esc blew as soon as i plugged in the battery, I saw smoke and then a second later the smoke stopper switched to the error

Has held up on my workbench and bag/field for a few years now, had to resolder a cracked wire at some point, but otherwise it has worked flawlessly. The heatshrink job was a little skimpy, but it does the job. Would buy another if I needed to.

Works like a charm. Don't get duped into getting the smoke stoppers with only a poly fuse. This one is the real smoke stopper that will prevent damage to your flight controller.

Such a nice relaxing feeling plugging in the battery for the first time, knowing this will protect the flight controller and all the precious electronics. The "on/off" switch also makes testing the configuration much easier. Love it!.
