After several month (3 weeks flat on floor) then in shower, the folds of mat are still there. There is no suction as the “cups†are too shallow to secure to floor of shower. Luckily the mats are not slipping so far.

It has 285 small suction cups that hold the mat tightly to my marble shower stall.The top of the mat has raised areas creating a texture that makes it nonslip.There are also holes through the mat that allow the water to drain through the mat to the shower drain since the mat covers the shower drain.This really does make a huge difference in how slippery the shower is. Even after using shampoo, soap, and rinse the floor of the shower is not slippery at all.The water drains as fast as it would have without the mat.I am very happy with this mat and I do recommend this for everyone of all ages, not just seniors.

Für unsere Großmutter haben wir nach einer rutschfesten Matte für die Dusche gesucht. Wir sind mit dieser Matte sehr zufrieden, sie hält auf in der nassen Dusche sehr gut am Boden und für den täglichen Gebrauch super! Sie steht mit der Matte deutlich sicherer auf dem nassen Boden als ohne.

I thought I could trim the mat but, it wouldn't be a clean cut or easy.The mat is very good quality. It comes with countless suction cups to hold the mat in place.The mat has bumps on it for traction however, the instructions say to lift it up after every use and clean it.A senior may not have the energy to lift a very secure mat sealed to a shower floor and if they start pulling on it, who's to say they won't fall?Personally, although I understand the premise of cleaning daily, I don't feel that's a reasonable expecting for most seniors.

Leider geknickt, obwohl da stand, dass man das nicht darf. Außerdem macht es überhaupt keinen Unterschied im Bezug auf das Rutschen.
