Our Artex waterproof-breathable fabric is fully seam-taped and keeps rain and wind out. We also build the Syncline CC with at least 40% recycled materials.

You need to be really careful about buying jackets for running in the rain. Many jackets advertised as waterproof are in fact only water-resistant. I have bought several that left me looking like a drowned rat when I wore them in anything but light rain. There are actually different ratings for waterproof jackets based on how they protect you in different intensities of rain. This jacket is truly waterproof. It has a hood, which one of the leading brands does not (you have to buy it separately at a hefty price). It is fitted, but comfortable. It has velcro closures at the wrists and pockets (which are also waterproof). And I love the color combo. This is a great jacket for keeping dry in even heavy rain.

Do not waste your money on this jacket. It is not waterproof. I walked an hour in light rain and came back soaked.

The pros: bright and visibleThe cons: absolutely NOT waterproof, absolutely NOT breathable, vent zip do very little to aid in breathabilityI have been soaked by rain and sweat. All the contents of my pockets were wringing wet. A terrible rain jacket.
