It fits the SHURflo Revolution 4008-171-E65/A65 pump perfectly! It's easy to take apart and clean, and doesn't need any plumbers tape or tightening tools to get a perfect high pressure seal on the pump inlet. Great design. Outlet barb is a true 1/2" OD, so be sure not to get tubing that is actually 5/8" (which many companies call 1/2").

This really is a nice little package. I have two different systems that use them and they do work well. I do wish that the basket was a bit larger for accessibility as well as capacity. But overall it is a great unit.

It sort of works, but it does not filter out some of the smaller sand, I had some of these filters like this but from another company and it had a finer strainer screen that works better. the housing is fine how ever.
