These switches are intended for use primarily with supply circuits rated 240V AC or less where the available fault current is less than 100,000A when used with Class R or T fuses, or 10,000A max when used with Class H fuses. All switches are provided with imbedded "ON" and "OFF" indicators and padlocking provisions on the handle and door. All switches are UL listed. Fuses not included on fusible device. Use HA type hubs if required.

Absolute smallest disconnect ever handled & perfect for my undercounter commercial dishwasher limited space. Bright red handle great design to see up or down from a distance. Only suggestion is to make lid bit removable friendly so can access line lugs at top & if mount top hole had slot to hang for ease of mounting like industry practice. Overall awesome design & prompt delivery as promised though about an hour later than window promised. Installed & functions as designed without an hitch.

It was missing one of the 6 screws that clamp down on the wire. Annoying!Otherwise a good product that is small and doesn't take up much space.

I ordered this several months ago as a switch for my large air compressor. I didn’t install it until last week. As I was installing it the plastic handle used to switch it on and off broke making it very hard/dangerous to use. Because I kept it well over the 30 day return period before I installed it I suppose I’m stuck with it. I learn by my mistakes, so use stuff you order before the return period ends. Very poorly made product for just under $40.00.

Per many other reviews, my first unit received was missing two wire lug screws . . . Also not noted in the product description is the fact you need to order a ground lug kit at additional cost as Siemens apparently believes making your installation safe and code compliant should cost extra money.This definitely a light duty switch. It is also a much smaller form factor than one would anticipate.One should also be aware this is a 3 wire cutoff. A 2 wire version is available at much lower cost from other sources.

First disconnect arrived damaged, broken handle. Replacement disconnect arrived two days later. Works great for the application it is used in for 30 amps.

It seems like a solid unit, but not ment to be used several times a week. Use it as a safety switch for HVAC EQUIPMENT. Have a licenced electrical contractor install it for you. Do it right!

The lever drifts out of alignment, there is not a solid snap into either connect or disconnect, there is very limited room to connected conductors, the cover lid is floppy. To me....junk. Not like Square D.
