Cheap & Genius solution right here, One Click Away. Came overnight for extra $4. I installed it in minutes. I am just average guy, zero pro skills.WORKS perfectly. (Comes on at 20 tank psi; Off at 40 tank psi)SO, cost me about $20. Install took minutes.MONEY SAVED: $230 !!TIME SAVED: 50 hours (Plumbers are HARD to book out here in country. Then when they come they hurry and make mistakes, actually and Cut Corners, actually ~ this is not a put down. But this is an unusual item that requires both electric and plumbing - their lack of experience can hurt you.)NOTE: One reviewer wrote that these pressure switches can be adjusted for pressure. I have found that NOT TO BE TRUE. What I mean is, you can adjust maybe 2.5 psi or 5 psi up or down... But do not count on it. BUY the switch your well pump and pressure ball at rated for and need.

Great deal! Changed out an old switch with this. I got this 20 psi on 40 psi off, but I jacked up the setting to get 25 50. I went with the cheapest Square D on Amazon, they are set at the factory and base price by the settings, so since they are all the same assembly, just different cut in and cut offs...... so just get the cheapest assembly and adjust your pressure preference. If you do not know how to adjust, it is CW turns to raise cut in pressure and cut out pressure on #1 screw on the right looking at it with the electrical hook up toward you. #2 screw on left side is to raise pressure cut out only. If you are not comfortable doing adjustments, buy a preset pressure switch. Overall, typical great quality by Square D and service life I got out of the last one was 13 years.

Well made by an experienced supplier. I bought this to replace a similar product that had failed after 26 years of service. I hope to get another 26 years out of this replacement by the same manufacturer ... This model and the original appear very similar ... not precisely identical, but clearly very similar.

This switch failed (corroded or burnt contacts) in less that 1 year. I believe I read in the Square D literature that the switches with the greenish colored covers are made in China. I've used many of this model pressure switch in industrial and domestic settings, and this is the first one to fail in an unreasonably short time. I've ordered the gray cover version, and will change this one out (and attempt to get my money back) as soon as the new switch arrives. It's disconcerting to get up in the morning and have ZERO water pressure, especially when you have a visiting dog that has the runs!
