Siemens space saving, plug in circuit breakers are intended for use in Siemens EQ, Siemens Ultimate, ITE, and Gould load centers and meter combinations that are rated to accept type QT breakers. Check wiring diagram to confirm. To ensure the warranty on a Siemens panel is not voided, the use of Siemens breakers is required. The quadplex breakers provide two double pole breakers in half the space of standard sized breakers. These triplex, 1/2-Inch frame breakers are ideal when new circuits are required in a panel that has no available spaces. Siemens strongly recommends against the use of "used" breakers. The installation of used breakers in a Siemens panel will void the warranty on the panel. Siemens does not sell used breakers and has not approved any 3rd party sellers to do so.

These narrow body breakers saved me from having to tear out and replace anew panel in my PV solar breaker installation. They were the only ones that would fit in my Midwest panel and give me 8 circuits. However I had to modify them per directions from an expert electrician to make them fit. Still, the only other solution was to tear out a new panel and start over for my PV solar installation.

4 double pole breakers for the space of two! best invention for the diy electrician since needle nose pliers. My breaker box is old and all are the old double pole breakers. I've added several circuits over the last few years, and these are a must. DIY folks make sure to note the inside two switches are a circuit and the outside two switches are a circuit if you are wiring for 220 and you need two phase for each circuit.

I got 2 of these for a 4x40A tankless electric water heater. They work as far as flipping on and off; none of the breakers have tripped after a month of (light) use. Exactly as expected.

I purchases several variations of Siemens breakers for a kitchen remodel. I needed the double / double pole which are hard to find at big box stores. Electrical supply houses charge $40 to $50 ea for them. These are a bargain at $20 bucks get them in two days with prime.Wish they would stock all variations of the Siemans breakers.

Works as advertised. This is a CTL breaker meaning it only fits into CTL compatible slots in your electrical panel. In the USA almost all slots are CTL compatible while many Canadian panels have only specific or no slots available for CTL breakers. Ensure your panel is rated to accept type "QT" breakers and which slots are rated to accept QT breakers.
