Was an exact fit for the one to my heat pump that failed. Bought mostly for the brand name which I've had great luck with in the past. Box is sturdy, contacts are sharp and defined.Punch-outs are a little harder than others, but it a good sturdy metal box after all!Highly recommend.

I really like this product! Very useful, it also came really fast! It's very easy to install. Price is really reasonable too, much more cheaper than the actual stores I go to. No damages to the package. It's perfect for my AC unit. I will buy this again if I need to use it later in my life.

Several reviewers are complaining about bad fitment of the disconnect insert. The unit I received had no issues with this, it is good and tight. From what I can tell, it can be easily adjusted by small tweaks to the blades. The unit seems perfect for my use, which is a convenient cutoff for a feeder to an outbuilding subpanel (it's not technically required in this case, but it makes installation of the feeder easier, and gives ability to shut off power in multiple locations).

I used this to replace the disconnect to my tankless electric water heater. The old one was some no name cheep thing that had been arcing on the contacts! Very dangerous! This one by SIEMENS ( a long established and well known electrical manufacturing company) is of noticeably better quality. In particular the copper contacts are thick and pronged for contact - very important. Highly recommended.

I recently had my HVAC serviced and the tech found that my AC unit was pulling more amps (I believe he said amps) than it should have been. After a little investigation, he found that the cause was a bad connection in my disconnect box, which was creating a lot of heat. The heat had warped most of the plastic pieces inside and it was just a matter of time before something bad happened.This was very easy to install. As an avid DIYer, it took me less than an hour to replace the old box with the new one and test it out.

Before buying this I read some reviews that said this was a "Cheap" product. If you've ever used or seen or installed a disconnect before, this is exactly what it is. It's not cheap, it's a standard product. Very happy with the product. Exactly what I was expecting. If you have never seen one before or never installed one, you might think it would need to be something more, but this is 100% adequate and just like the 1000's of others installed all over this country.

Bought this for a 220 V mini-split installation. Perfect size and none of the troubles some others mentioned. The plastic t-handled disconnect stays snug (can lift the box with it). I did bend tabs a little anyway, just because others said it was loose, but that was after I verified mine was ok. It is super snug now. No problems with the door and catch, everything was as it should be. Maybe they took the bad reviews to heart and updated QC.

Easy install and good amount of anchor points to secure to structure. You can run wire from the bottom or left or right sides. I used this disconnect for a heat pump diy install.No complaints would buy again for similar diy projects.

This unit was the ticket to run power from my main house power to our mini split Senville air conditioner. Plus a lot less expensive compared to the local electrical Wholesaler

This AC disconnect works fine for the purpose. The box is very well built and thick, which is awesome.The pullout plug is very loose in the socket if inserted in the OFF position. You'll need to take care to prevent it from falling out before the lid is closed.Taking off a star because the knockout panels on the bottom can be REALLY hard to open. I was able to get them off but it was a major faff. The paint and welding can stick the plates hard onto the metal and make opening difficult.Once that was resolved this is a good product. For the price it was good.
