First off, these are decent quality 4" powder-coated gray, cast metal extension boxes. If you need 'em, go ahead and buy 'em... They include the back gasket and four threaded plastic block-off plugs for the four threaded outlets, which is OK. Nothing wrong with the boxes, but as is so common, the details Amazon has listed are incorrect... The description and Technical Details both show the material to be "Plastic" but they are not plastic, they're cast metal, probably aluminum. The product details state Country of Origin as being USA, but on the actual product label it clearly states Made in India. Nothing wrong with that necessarily, but if you've made a conscious decision to buy a domestically produced product based on that product description, you're being deceived by someone... Just sayin''...

Paired this with a Leviton outlet mounted to a 4" plate. Easy to install and plate mounted easily.

I put two motion detectors on one box and did not have the wire room inside. This gave me room.

The box worked perfectly for my project. The screw-in plugs for the sides are included so you don't need to buy additional plugs.

Worked perfectly for my needs. My bathroom light fixtures did not extend far enough to clear the mirror frames. After much searching I found these. Simple to install. They included all the plugs and hardware I needed.

I am installing a remote control light so I can turn it on my driveway from the car. I needed space for the box and antenna. This was a perfect extender. I drilled out a hole in one of the screw-plugs for the antenna and it all went together easily and created enough space to get the wiring and the control box installed. It was a good quality product and it aligned nicely with the old work.

This worked for my application of extending and junction box. It was similar in price to the Big Box stores, but I did not have to make a trip. I bought two so I have one for the next project.
