This 4-inch diameter round outlet box is designed specifically for installing receptacles in moisture-prone or outdoor locations. The electrical box features a die-cast metal construction that seals out moisture, dust, debris, and insects to keep receptacles protected year-round and throughout any weather conditions. The gray-colored junction box is also powder coated for maximum scratch and corrosion resistance. This circular weatherproof box is compatible with 4” round receptacle configurations. The junction box is compatible with 4” diameter round weatherproof covers, such as ENERLITES model 7740-WP (wall plate sold separately). The outdoor outlet box comes with a pre-installed grounding screw, closure plugs, mounting lugs, and installation screws to make installation as fast and easy and possible. This product is UL & CUL listed and complies with NEC 2017 406.9 for a weatherproof enclosure in damp locations..

This is a nice quality box. It was the perfect height for where I needed it to go in my eave so that the flood light I installed would be flush with the vinyl soffit. However, it was missing the screws for mounting the fixture, and the standard-sized 8-32 screws that came with the flood light were a hair too small. I came back to Amazon to reference the listing, and it says that it should come with the screws. It also gives conflicting information about it taking 10-32 (of which I already had and did not work) and 10-24 screws (which I didn’t have). Had to make a special trip to the hardware store to get 10-24 screws, and those worked perfectly. Would have been a 5 star review if it weren’t for the issues with the screws.

these worked for my application after drilling holes in them to mount them at 2-3/4" offset, the holes it comes with are wider.

Easy to use. Comes with plug fillers. Outside mounting brackets makes it easy to do most of the work on the ground, when possible, and then mount entire fixture. Tough water tight junction box.
