I plugged it in... loaded a driver and it worked!Sorry for any lack of enthusiasm .... but it is just a serial card.It is not like it does anything important.. it runs a 25 year old label maker!

This thing drove me nuts for a week. (yes I spent too much time debugging it) The board would transmit and receive just fine TO ITSELF (loop back) but it turned out after a lot of investigation (O-scope and logic analyzer) that all of the baud rates from this board were wrong. I eventually found the data sheet for the chip used on this board (MCS9900CV) and it turns out that this chip is EXPECTING a 30 MHz crystal for the serial port refclock. (see page 38 pf data sheet) My board was built with a 25MHz crystal. I wasted a ton of time finding this and now I am outside of the return window. FAIL.

Windows 10, i7. Every time computer restarts, the comports are lost. Every time. If I could give this zero stars, I would.EDIT: The vendor offered one suggestion, to move the card to a different slot. There is only one slot. I've wasted hours trying to get this to work, to no avail. I stand by my one (zero) star rating. It's junk.
