Orange bead changing color to dark green as it becomes increasingly saturated with moisture. Then it can be baked by microwave for about 2-3 mins, or place in the oven for 0.5 to 2 hours at 200 to 250F by reusable.

These things are super handy. I toss one in with my cell phone when I put in the waterproof case before I do a water activity like boating, swimming, or water park. It takes all the moisture that finds it way in as it always does. No more steamy pouch photos. I will toss a couple in with the GoPro and DSLR for the same reason.th9s is the perfect size for slipping in with electronics especially when they are prone to moisture of any kind like trail camera, out door keypads and control panels I toss a half dozen or so of these in my gate control panel to stop corrosion from condensation. Another place they work great is inside of the vacuum storage bags you used to keep bedding and towels and stuff like that. You toss in 6 to 12 of these and a dryer sheet or two and when you open your vacuum bags you don't have that funky smell in the clothing anymore. I also use these in with the floating pool thermometer that would always seem to fog up and then corrode due to the moisture that would always get in. I have now had the the same one for 3 years and never seen it cloud up. It is super nice to have the color change to let you know when it is time to toss in the microwave and reset. Some things like the outdoor keypads, and the gate controller I set a reminder to switch them out with recharged one in the fall. Get the big bag because you will find all kinds of places use them like inside your glasses case, a couple in your shoes when you are not wearing the (gym shoes, basketball shoes, any activity that your feet are more likely to sweat in. It just keeps it all fresh. They work great for reusable food bags for kids or lunch boxes. Throw a couple in the cooler when you put it away to get rid of the funk, the list just goes on.

Come on people, read directions. Those complaining about the orange beads inside, It’s when those beads turn dark green then you need to change them.I don’t live in a very wet or humid area but still use silica packets as a precaution. These work well for the compartments, bags or containers I drop them into.

I absolutely love these packets and I’ve never had a problem with them and I have ordered 3 to 4 orders of these and they come well packaged and I have left them out a few times and never seen any issues with them and I like how you can reuse them if you choose to, so that’s why I got them so then my customers can reuse them if they want. Love love.

If it is something thing that is closed off. I use them. The south is very humid and you don’t want mold settling up in leather.
