It helped but the carbon didn’t fully remove the chlorine taste in our drinking water. It has improved the water along with our new water softener system.

I ordered these as 6-month replacements in my iSpring unit. I was concerned that it didn't list iSpring in the compatibility, but aren't all these filters standard? Anyway, I had no problem installing them... and a better buy than the iSpring-labeled filters with what sound like the same specs.

I purchased the Waterdrop Whole House Filter and I have been trying different Carbon Filters.We are on well water and it stinks so have been trying to find a real charcoal not just coconut. I changed to this Carbon Filter yesterday and no smell at all in my faucets. When I first turned on the faucets black charcoal came out so I am hoping this means it is so much better than the others I have tried. It has only been one day but no smell immediately. Other filters it seemed like there was no change on the new filter.I would recommend this filter
