I think they have great function & speed & are quite affordable for their quality.If you are looking for an easy to use, less complicated machine that works when you need it to sew. It's important for me to mention that I do not know how to sew with a machine yet. I've always done my alterations by hand. I decided to invest in a good quality semi basic machine that I could have for years to come. This is the perfect machine for that. It's not too complicated, it's very easy to use, it was a good value for the money, And the black color is very fun. I have a friend coming over this weekend to show me how to use it and I'm excited to learn more about how to sew! It offers multi speed functions and a high quality stitch. It has a nice way to it and it's very sturdy and well-made. The machine came with many accessories as part of the bundle and I don't know how to use any of them, but I'm excited to learn.

I was very excited, I bought this model thinking it would be a very good investment. I have not been able to use it, the bobbin holder came loose (detached and chipped). I paid a specialized technician to check it, he thought that the part might have come loose during shipping (from USA to Venezuela). He managed to fit the coil holder, again we tried to use it and the coil came loose, tangling the sons disastrously inside the coil holder.I paid $189.98 + tax + $88 shipping to Venezuela + $50 for servicing and the machine is still not working. DECEIVED of this Singer product. Unfortunately, I have no warranty here. DO NOT BUY IT, it is a common failure.

it’s so cool that this machine is black, I really wanted this color and am super happy with how it looks, although it could be a little bit more modern looking and has kind of an old but vintage and cool vibe to it. What’s the most important thing is that it’s so well and it is extremely easy to fill the bobbin and thread it. It’s also handy the way that the needle is threaded. The tension is just perfect, and the settings are easy to understand understand. When you order it, it does not come with a printed out guidebook which is cool. You can just look that up online.

Great beginner sewing machine. I purchased it for fabricating pouches, sling packs and backpacks. It has its limits but its doing well so far. Time will tell just how heavy duty this machine is sewing 1000D Cordura and webbing together. It sure beats sewing everything by hand like I have been doing for the last two years. It is super easy to use an this is coming from a first time sewing machine operator. Now if I can just sew a straight line all will be good lol.

I learned to sew on a singer when I was 10 years old and I have used other products in the meantime but it always end up coming back to the singers. They are beautiful. This model does not disappoint.

Two days into using this machine, I encountered my first problem, fixed that myself, which I shouldn’t have had to, then immediately after I encountered another issue. I went to return the machine and I was one day later. Very disappointed with this purchase. I now have to take it to a specialist and pay for a repair on a brand new machine. Not good.
