Two piece tool set to achieve precise and consistent seam allowances between 1/8 inch to 1 inch.
Tips: Keep the protective cover over adhesive strip when not in use. If protective strip is lost household wax paper can be used instead. To remove lint build up on the adhesive tack strip, spray with a little glass cleaner and gently rub linty area with thumb or finger. The lint will float to surface as you rub. Rinse debris away with warm water and let air dry. Guide will be ready to use again in a few minutes.

This really helps me with sewing in straight lines (I can’t for the life of me!) and I absolutely love it.My one problem is that the adhesive sticks to the removable sewing table on my machine (Singer Prélude) so if I remove the table to rewind the bobbin or to fix thread issues, it comes undone. Not much of a problem mostly just an annoyance.

Accurate and simple to use. The sticky side of the guide is supposed to be reusable and it is, but I felt like it could only be rinsed maybe five times before it stopped working as well. I do wish the gauge extended out in front of the presser foot more so that it was easier to place the guide accurately further forwards. Really good gauge & guide.

Great for beginners! It helps to know when your needle has been moved for sewing what the seam allowance is. This is a great tool for that. It measures from the needle to the edge of the fabric.

I like this stitch guage and guide. Only thing I don’t like is that when I remove the guide, it pulls up my stitch plate. Also worried about how long the sticky part on the guide will last.Update: If you have a detachable table on your sewing machine, the seam guide has to stick onto multiple surfaces. The guide doesn’t lie flat, therefore material can move under the guide without you realizing it. Also, the adhesive collects loose threads from the fabric, and becomes quite worthless after using it awhile.

This is very important to know! The size of the hole for the needle is perfect and especially for low vision users. I have low vision and need an accurate guage ruler for accurate seams. I bought another ruler first and the hole for the needle was much too big so that the needle floated in the hole and has to be in the exact center of the hole to be an accurate quater inch. This needle gauge has the perfect size hole so the needle does not float around! This is super important for low vision. You can then use the sticky seam guide that comes with this or you can use a magnetic guide or you can use a screw on guide like I use as I have a vintage Singer 301a slant needle machine that has the screw holes for a guide. So again, this singer guage ruler is the best one for low vision and has the right size needle hole. I would definitely recommend it.
