This cooktop has a nice profile, it’s just 2 inches in depth, so it looks sleek. Heats up very quickly with a fairly rapid boil, but the size of the pan has to be less than 10 inches. It has a child lock and has a light for when it’s too hot. I’ve always wanted one of these for our guest cottage that only has a frig and microwave. This fits in the closet (no panty and small cupboards) so it can be easily accessed by guests if they want a quick breakfast, soup, grilled cheese etc. I’ve looked at several of these and the price is competitive. Really happy with this cooktop.

We do a lot of cookouts on our back patio, so this cooktop will be used well. It's very convenient; just plug it in, and it's ready to go. I love that there are two burners, which help out tremendously to heat up food while the grill is going. When done, we simply unplug it and bring it inside to clean. Our daughter will be attending college next year, so we're thinking of getting another one for her to take since she'll be living in a small studio apartment.

This is without a doubt a classy looking cooktop that would make a great impression for a table side cook station. It has 2 separate ways to set the temperature from 400 F to 1200 F or P0 to P9, (touch arrow or knob), and reads in fahrenheit or "P" settings (whatever that means). (Interestingly there is no centigrade option.) You can also set a timer to automatically turn off each burner from 1 to 240 min. When you turn it off the stove enters a cool-down mode where the internal fan stays on until the unit is cool. There is a "hot" marquis that displays until then. It has overheat protection and high voltage protection built in, and you can lock the panel but only after it is on. It seems to me you should be able to lock it when off as well but that did not work - and if you pull the plug it resets anyway. The power cord is 4' long. The surface is a continuous piece of glass with no trim making it very easy to clean. One thing to keep in mind is that this unit is rated at 2000 watts total (or 1800 depending on where you look). The maximum current draw for a standard 15 amp outlet at 120 volts is 1800 watts. (Kitchens must now have 20 amp outlets and a special plug.) Since each element individually can draw 1600 watts, the power to a second burner is reduced accordingly to prevent overloading the circuit. You cannot have both elements on full power at the same time. The unit automatically adjusts for this, and there is a chart in the instructions that show combined power usage. Overall this is a very capable, elegant looking cook top that can really come in handy - but do read all the warnings in the booklet.

The cook-top heats up quickly and it has a feature that lets you know that it’s still hot even after you turn it off. It also has a child lock feature that I really like.

This electric element was a lifesaver! My cooktop stopped working 4 days before Thanksgiving. I was hosting 3 separate dinners over the weekend and this cooktop saved the day! It heated up so quickly, in no time at all, my pot of potatoes were boiled. Easy to operate, lots of power, attractive looking, the only con is the loud cool down fan, but don’t let that deter you from buying this. So worth the money!!

This cooktop is advertised as having "Dual Control Methods & Stepless Adjustment," allowing users to choose between touch and knob controls. However, that’s not accurate—you must first activate the touch display before using the knobs. This makes it inconvenient and not suitable for elders or individuals with poor eyesight who rely on manual controls.On the positive side, the build quality is decent, and the cooktop feels durable. It heats well and functions as expected once turned on. However, the misleading description is a major drawback. If Amazon’s return policy weren’t so easy, I would have rated this 1 star instead of 3. Buyers should be aware of this limitation before purchasing.
