This works great with MacOS M3 USB-c connector. If your need is to connect your computer to MIDI in/out, this is a good solution.

Worked perfectly. I was able to connect midi in and out plus Bluetooth receiver. Now, I am able to connect either Disklavier piano or Digital Bluetooth receiver without fumbling under controller to switch from/ to the other.

Does its job for my purposes. I have a Morningstar MC6 Midi controller for my midi-capable guitar pedals. I ran into two pedals that only had midi in, and I was faced with buying a $60 powered midi thru box or trying to see how lossy using a splitter for guitar pedals would be. Fortunately, there is no loss or delay of signal whatsoever. I'm running 5 pedals in my chain and splitting it after the 3rd pedal in the chain.

This cable filled a critical need in my rig, and works exactly as described. I play electronic wind instruments, commonly known as EWIs, and their data output is much more dense than your average keyboard based instrument. Most passive MIDI splitters connected to an EWI skip or mangle messages. They look and feel durable.

I bought a couple of these splitters for Geyser Hayes machines that I use for djing. They work to connect my two machines to my single output on my controller for 1 gig and then did not work at the next gig. They only work for one use. Junk.

Didn't seem to work as a splitter or merger for any of my applications. As soon as any second midi device is connected everything stops working. Will keep it on hand in case I can ever find a use for it.

J'utilise ces bretelles Midi pour éviter de débrancher sans arrêt (et donc de fragiliser)les 4 sorties de ma thru box. Je n'utilise qu'un seul côté à la fois pour ne pas surcharger le flux Midi. J'ai actuellement4 bretelles Midi branchées sur les Midi out de la thru box. Un conseil: 1 seul côté (1 seule machine) de chaque bretelles en même temps.(pratique et beaucoup moins coûteux qu'une Midi thru station,à qq centaines d'€uros)
