This case fits my daughter's Holton 180 perfectly! Its sturdy and not too heavy. There is a nice slot for the mouthpiece. It also has a lock which is a great safety feature most cases don't have. My only complaint is that it took 2 weeks to ship.

My French Horn is 40 years old now and now my daughter is learning to play it decided it was time to buy a new case.The case has a hard plastic outer shell of two hinged halves with a metal interlocking edges with soft fur like lining inside. Three relatively sturdy latches lock the halves together and it is lockable - although we don't use that feature.My horn fitted right in and there is even a receptacle for the mouthpiece.A very well constructed case which will last her a while I think - and reasonably priced I thought.

This was the second case we tried! This was a little more expensive but out of the box fit my son’s double Hilton French horn perfect. Appears well made and hopefully will stand up to middle-schooler abuse. I’ll update here if it doesn’t!

I bought this case to replace a gig bag which was a real pain to use! My horn is a Gerhard Schneider Master Model, which is an East German, exact copy of a pre-war Alexander 103, so I was a little apprehensive as to whether this case would be suitable. I needn't have worried, the fit is perfect, neither too tight nor too loose. There is a small compartment in the case which is just big enough to hold three bottles of oil, a small tub of slide grease and a spare mouthpiece but no more. The case is very sturdy, and probably tough enough to survive in a plane cargo hold! At a fraction of the price of a genuine Alexander horn case, this is a real bargain.

My partner was very pleased with his new horn case. It was a Christmas present from me. The case is very sturdy and the inside is soft and well padded and this offers great protection for the horn in case of any accidents e.g. dropping the case, something heavy is placed on top etc. The key gives added safety. There was some slight damage to the base of the case, two of the rubber screw covers were missing. My partners said it was fine. I would have returned it.
