This veneer is quality. Don’t know how the glue is as I’m using it in another application outdoors with construction adhesive. Impossible to use an iron. It will be under a roof and not exposed to direct water. It will be painted also.

If you are a somewhat experienced woodworker you will find that this stuff works great. It's easy to install, couple of time back and forth with an iron (tilt one way and then the order as well to make sure the long edge gets good adhesion. Use a sanding block (with 60 grit) and sand across the edge. The glue will work as wood putty and fill in any crack between your surface and the veneer. Sand in one direction so as not to push against the glue till the glue starts to separate. Use your fingers to peel off the glue and then give it a couple of more strokes with the sanding block and your done. The result looks great. It's hard to tell that there is veneer unless you are expecting end-grain.The only issue is that it is not a continuous piece but rather spliced sections. Hopefully you don't need a piece longer than one of those sections to have a perfect job.

Just what I needed. Made floating shelves, needed to face them. This was perfect. Takes a bit for the glue to heat up and stick. Pic reference; top shelf is the before and bottom is after.

Easy to apply with an iron. Had some play so you could move it a bit right after running the iron over it. Glue works well. Very pleased. Simple/easy process.

Very easy to use. The adhesion is quick but also forgiving and can move it around til it's good. It's not perfect on the curves but not very noticeable.

This banding material is horrible! I have built cabinetry for many years and have used 1000’s of feet of edge banding, basically stating that I am an experienced woodworker. This edge banding is by far the worst I have ever used. The adhesive on it does not adhere well. I edged 3 pieces of maple ply for shelves and after applying it properly, a few hours later there were 3 areas that were raised. The glue did not adhere well. I got my iron out again and reapplied the banding and the same thing happened, but in different areas. Garbage… It also has very visible finger joints in it where they join sections together. These stand out like a sore thumb. As mentioned, don’t waste your money.

This maple wood veneer had a wonderful and consistent colour throughout the roll. This is important for things like natural coloured kitchen cabinets. I would definitely buy this item again .

Used to finish the edges of this chair/bed. Worked perfectly and really sticks good to the plywood edges.

Darker than all my other maple edge band which is hard to tell via shopping with a cell phone. Too bad there is no rating for darkness scale of wood grain which would assist carpenters in buying these products online without these issues. I will only be able to use it on paint grade cabinets. Otherwise seems fine

Good product. Stuck well with both an iron and a heat gun. Stained and all that a wood edging should do.
