The spring loaded pins fall out and get stuck in shaft if you push to hard or not hard enough.Not worth the money with this severe weak link.

It didn’t come with a clip so I can’t connect the shovel rod to the shovel! I’m either stupid or it’s an incomplete product. In other words it’s useless now

I bought one of these after I got my snowmobile stuck (and had to abandon it). I already carry a different type of shovel (https://www.amazon.com/Gerber-Tool-Folding-Serrated-30-000075/dp/B001JQ5YJ6/ref=sr_1_3?crid=3FZB4KHTLJOL3&keywords=gerber+entrenching+tool&qid=1643493456&sprefix=gerber+ent%2Caps%2C198&sr=8-3) but needed something that could move a lot of snow fast.When I hiked back up to get my sled out, I brought both the Gerber and this shovel. There was a lot of iced up snow locking the sled in place and after a few tries, the blade on this shovel bent over. It wasn't a failure, but it did make the shovel pretty useless for anything other than powder. Luckily, I had the Gerber and it chipped away the ice and saved the day.So for $100+, this shovel has a few things going for it...it's light, it has a saw in the handle and it can be configured to have the blade at a right angle to the handle. But I now don't trust it for anything other than powder and probably will rarely use it again (though I will keep it, just in case).The Gerber isn't very good at moving lots of snow with each pass, but it is very portable and stout, and its utility can't be beat.
