A lot of reviews say that you can't change the tension. Trust the reviews that actually took the time to learn how to use the tool. Sure it starts out a bit stiff, but if you PULL UP on the adjustment knob you can rotate and adjust the tension just fine. Mine loosened up after a few pulls/turns.Excellent quality and really handy to have around. Using this on bikes, drums, guitars, and household items. Great to have a limit to how tight things are when putting things together.

Perfect for torquing down screws for scope rings on your rifle, and the action screws.

This product seems to have a deficient design for its torque adjustment bolt. From the first time working with this tool you feel that something is not right when dialing the adjustment knob. It is not easy to turn and you get a feeling that it is going to break. Well, it did just after a few applications. Quite a shame:-(

Great, sturdy a little hefty. Complaints about the knob being to hard, not true. You must first pull the knob and then turn to change torque settings. Easy pezzy...

I have a couple of other torque wrenches that are bigger and more accurate than this one. However, when I'm making adjustments to my bike fit (saddle and stem height, cleats, etc), I like to go on a long bike ride to test the changes and this tool is great for making on-the-road adjustments. This tool is small enough to carry in a saddle bag and pull out as needed. Accuracy is good enough for on-the-road repairs. Usage is a little clunky, but not bad considering that I'm not using the tool every day. Price is great for this use case.
